MuchBoost 1.4TSI EA211 Upgraded Turbocharger with a Custom Billet Compressor Wheel and Enlarged Turbine Wheel It is based on an original IHI/Mitsubishi, which means that the installation is 100%P&P. The turbocharger is meant to work with Audi A1 8X, Audi A3 8V1/8VK, Seat Alhambra II, Seat Ibiza IV, Seat Leon III, Skoda Octavia III, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Golf MK VII, Volkswagen Polo V, and others equipped with the 1.4TSI EA211 122-150HP engines.
The turbo delivers up to 229% power (158 extra HP) over the factory specs. It is a great choice for someone looking for a bit extra HP from their daily driver. MuchBoost turbo allows you to get more from your engine and enjoy it even more than you’ve been so far.
We have developed 3 modification options that allow you to reach anywhere from 220HP to 280HP.
MuchBoost EA211 1.4TSI 220
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated ~220HP at the crank. Listo of modifications:
- Precisely machined seal plates and compressor housing,
- Genuine IHI/Mitsubishi compressor housing,
- Genuine IHI/Mitsubishi bearing housing,
- Genuine IHI/Mitsubishi exhaust manifold,
- Upgraded journal bearings system that allows the turbo to hold more boost,
- More efficient and larger Billet Compressor Wheels:6+6 blades for IHI
8+0 blades for Mitsubishi - Clipped and Lightened genuine Turbine Wheel to help reduce backpressure,
- The compressor and turbine wheels are balanced separately, and then the whole core is high-speed balanced using VSR balancing machines at speeds similar to the level seen in the vehicle.
MuchBoost EA211 1.4TSI 250
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~250HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 220 option are the same except:
- Larger High-Flow 9 blades Turbine Wheel,
- Precisely machined exhaust housing.
MuchBoost EA211 1.4TSI 280
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~280HPÂ at the crank. Modifications compared to the 250 option are the same except:
- Additionally enlarged Compressor Wheel,
- Additionally larger High-Flow 9 blades Turbine Wheel.
Other Significant Modifications
To fully utilize the potential of this hybrid turbo, we recommend upgrading i.a. fuel, exhaust, cooling systems, and the clutch. Individual ECU remapping is the foundation.
