MuchBoost 1.8 20V K04 Upgraded Turbocharger with a Custom Billet Compressor Wheel, and Enlarged Turbine Wheel. It is based on an original KKK K04, which means that the installation is 100%P&P. The turbocharger is meant to work with cars using the 1.8T 20V engine.
The turbo delivers up to 137% power (120 extra HP) over the factory specs. It is a great choice for someone looking for a bit extra HP from their daily driver. MuchBoost turbo allows you to get more from your engine and enjoy it even more than you’ve been so far.
We have developed 2 modification options that allow you to reach anywhere from 300HP to 330HP.
MuchBoost 1.8T 20V 300
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated ~300HP at the crank. Listo of modifications:
- Precisely machined seal plates and compressor housing,
- Genuine KKK compressor housing,
- Genuine KKK bearing housing,
- Genuine KKK exhaust manifold,
- Upgraded journal bearings system that allows the turbo to hold more boost,
- More efficient and larger Billet Compressor Wheel,
- Enlarged genuine Turbine Wheel,
- Dynamically balanced,
- The compressor and turbine wheels are balanced separately, and then the whole core is high-speed balanced using VSR balancing machines at speeds similar to the level seen in the vehicle.
MuchBoost 1.8T K04 330
Upgraded turbocharger with an estimated potential of ~330HP at the crank. Modifications compared to the 300 option are the same except:
- Bigger Compressor Billet Wheel
- Larger High-Flow 9 blades Turbine Wheel
- Genuine reinforced actuator,
- Precisely machined exhaust housing.
Other Significant Modifications
To fully utilize the potential of this hybrid turbo, we recommend upgrading i.a. fuel, exhaust, cooling systems, and the clutch. Individual ECU remapping is the foundation.

One of our clients managed to produce 296HP and 400Nm at the crank. The car was also equipped with:
